The Seventh Sino-French History and Culture Seminar Held at East China Normal University

The Seventh Sino-French History and Culture Seminar was held at our university from Septerm 22nd to 26th. Our vice President Fan Jun, and French Consul-general to Shanghai Mr. Thierry Mathou both attended the opening ceremony, which was presided over Secretary-general Li Hongtu.

 

In the ceremony, Fan Jun gave a warm welcome to all the scholars present. He hoped that the seminar would be year after year, which can become a symbol of the friendship between China and France.

 

Over seventy graduate students and more than ten French scholars had discussions in the five-day seminar.
