President of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia Visited Our University

President of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia visited our university on August 19th, 2010. On behalf of our President Yu Lizhong, Vice President Ren Youqun gave his delegation a warm welcome. Mr. Ren introduced our university to the guests. They expressed that they wished to establish cooperation between our university and their universities, hoping that their youth students come here to study Chinese, Chinese culture, and other subjects. Dean of School of International Relations and Regional Development Feng Shaolei and its deputy Dean Bei Wenli also attend the meeting, introducing the achievement made by their Russian Study Centre. Director of International Division Ding Shuzhe also accompanied the guests in the reception. The Republic of Buryatia is a member of the Russian Federation. Its capital city is one of the most ancient cities in the far oriental and Siberian regions.
