Forum of Sino-US Educational Exchanges for International Understanding Held in East China Normal University

Forum of Sino-US Educational Exchanges for International Understanding was held in East China Normal University on June 21st, 2010. Many professionals attended the forum, including our President Yu Lizhong, Dean of Teachers College of Columbia University Professor Susan Fuhrman, and Deputy Dean of Graduate School of Education of University of Pennsylvania Ms. Yan Zheng.

 

President Yu addressed in the forum, saying that the internationalization momentum is on the rise and that educational exchange is necessary for promoting mutual respect and understanding. He hoped that the younger generations of both countries would establish friendship, which would be good for the development and peace of both countries. Professor Susan Fuhrman also high praised the programs.

 

The summer school in Shanghai would end in July 3rd, 2010 and then the students would go for America for a four-week visit.
