Vice President of University of British Columbia Visited our University

John Hepburn, vice President of University of British Columbia, visited our university on June 2nd. Our vice President Chen Qun received the guests warmly. Dean of School of Foreign Langauges Zhang Chunbai, and leaders of History Department, School of Psychology and Cognitive Science, and International Exchange Division all took part in the meeting.

 

Vice President Chen introduced our university first. Then the two parties had a discussion on co-training doctors, student exchange, co-research, and Chinese training. After the meeting, the two parties signed cooperation agreement.

 

University of British Columbia, ranking 31st in the world, is a top-class university, attracting many students all over the world. Up to now, it has cooperated with our History Department, English Department, and Chinese Character Research and Application Centre on Asian Studies, Master of Education training, and Ancient Character Research.
