Academician He Jifeng Awarded Honorary Doctoral Degree by York University in Britain

The degree-awarding ceremony and alumni-celebration congregation of York University was held in Beijing on April 17^th, 2010. Dean of our School of Software, Academician He Jifeng, attended this activity. He was given a honorary doctoral degree for computer science, which showed that his contribution to computer science had been highly recognized in the world.

 

Academician He Jifeng has been dedicating to research on programming and applied mathematics since the early 1980s. He won the comments made by York University as “first-class scientist for computer science in the world”.

 

York University is one of the best universities in Britain. In particular, its research on computer science is in a flagship position in the world.
