Haim Dotan, Well-know Designer in the world, Engaged as our Advisory Professor

Haim Dotan, designer of the Israeli Pavilioin in the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, was engaged as an advisory professor of our university. The engagement ceremony was held on our campus on March 23rd.

 

Vice President Ren Youqun, on behalf of President Yu Lizhong, gave him the engagement letter and our university emblem. Professor Ren congratulated him, wishing him to take care of the development of our university. He also hoped that some day many other well-known designers would come from our School of Designing.

 

Mr. Dotan thanked us and expressed that his family had profound relations with Shanghai, hoping that further cooperation would go smooth in the future.

 

The ceremony was presided over by the dean of our School of Designing, Professor Wei Shaonong. Deputy Director of our International Exchange Division Peng Liping and students of the school also attended the ceremony.
