Delegation of Lyon University Visited ECNU

President Michel M. Lussault of Lyon University headed a delegation to visit our university on March 24th, 2010.

 

This was the first time for him to visit China. What’s more, our university was the first university he visited in China. Chancellor Zhang Jishun gave them a warm welcome and held a meeting later. In the meeting, she expressed that as an important source of international higher education, Lyon University would play a crucial role of promoting the internationalization of our university.

 

Accompanied by our President Yu Lizhong, the delegation went to meet Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, having a discussion on the cooperation between Lyon University and East China Normal University. They hope that they could further the cooperation here, in particular, with ECNU, building an international platform to implement student exchange, develop the relationship with enterprises in Shanghai, and convert the research achievement into practical fruit.
