Vice President Ren Youqun of ECNU Attended the Ceremony of the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of the National Committee of UNESCO

Vice President Ren Youqun, also director of UNESCO APEID Centre at ECNU, attended the Ceremony of the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of the National Committee of UNESCO at Beijing on December 23rd and December 24th. Vice Minister of Education Ministry Hao Ping presided over the ceremony. Liu Yandong, member of the political bureau of the central committee of the Communist Party of China and state councilor, made a speech. So did the Minister of the Education Ministry Yuan Guiren.

 

After that, Ren Youqun made a keynote speech titled “Educational Innovation for the Sustainable Development of the Society” in the following seminar, introducing ECNU’s school-running principles and activities held with UNESCO. It was warmly welcomed by the representatives present.
