International Conference on Actuarial and Financial Risks Held at ECNU

International Conference on Actuarial and Financial Risks was held at ECNU from January 4th to 5th. It was co-hosted by East China Normal University, Fudan University, Hong Kong University, and the Actuarial Commission of Chinese Probability and Statistics Academy. HSBC and Taorui Corporation cosponsored it.

 

President Yu Lizhong attended the opening ceremony and made a brilliant speech, giving a warm welcome to the representatives in and abroad in related fields and companies. He expressed the wish that our students and faculty of Finance School want to make more contribution in establishing Shanghai as an international financial centre. Professor Wang Rongming, dean of our School of Finance and Statistics, presided over the ceremony.

 

The chairman of this conference was Professor Hans Gerber. Summit was held closely focusing on actuarial and how to control the financial risks.
