Great Achievements Made in the Cooperative Programs Between New York University and ECNU

Eight students of our School of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, one student of our School of News, and one student of our School of Chinese had been selected and admitted into Master Programs of New York University in 2008. After graduation, they went to the distinguished middle schools in America or Shanghai. Their persistent endeavor and excellence have won the complimentary comments from the university and the work units.

 

During the one-year study in America, the ten students overcame the difficulty in language, culture and daily life, passing successfully and getting the Chinese certificates. What’s more, they all participated in DCLT（Development of Chinese Language Teachers）Forum and many other activities organized by New York Education Bureau. They also published a guidebook for teaching Chinese (China Sprout Press). Moreover, they kept contact with our alumni in America, making contributions for the development of our university overseas.
