New York University and ECNU Cooperating to Open up New Prospects

Under the guideline of “To enlarge international vision, drain in fine resources, extend cooperative area, elevate cooperation level, and strengthen communications competence”, New York University and ECNU opened up new prospects on cooperation.

 

On October 16th, Chancellor Zhang Jishun headed a delegation of four people to visit New York University on its president’s invitation. The two parties had discussions on co-building NY offices at Shanghai. To carry out this international cooperation, deputy Mayor of Shanghai, Shen Xiaoming, also led a delegation of Shanghai municipal officials to visit New York University, and took part in the tri-lateral negotiations. Many leaders of Shanghai all confirmed that they strongly support this project, hoping that the new branch will be set up and in operation earlier at Shanghai.
