Liu Jiemei of School of Resource and Environment Selected for the 2009 Bayer Young Environment Envoy (BYEE)

On November 8th, Liu Jiemei of School of Resource and Environment was selected for the 2009 Bayer Young Environment Envoy (BYEE). She will go for Germany to attend the prize-awarding ceremony on invitation and do some field research.

 

Liu Jiemei, selected to be the envoy because of her solid knowledge, rich volunteer experience, and outstanding Chinese and English, is one of our students of School of Resource and Environment. She competed with over 1600 candidates and stood out, becoming one of the four envoys selected.

 

Bayer Young Environment Envoy (BYEE) Program was initiated by Bayer Corporation in 1988, co-built by the UN Environmental Bureau.
