President Yu Lizhong met French Consuls in Shanghai

President Yu Lizhong met the new consul for university cooperation Mr. Grégory Wegmann and consul for scientific and technological affairs Mr. Jean-Jacques Pierrat in French Consulate-general in Shanghai on October 9th, 2009. Vice President Chen Qun also attended the meeting.

 

During the meeting, the two parties looked back to the long history of cooperation, in particular, the co-training doctoral student program between ENS and ECNU. Yu Lizhong expressed his sincere thanks to their support these years, hoping that they could give more help in the future.

 

Director of Science and Technology Division Sun Zhenrong introduced our laboratories of life science, optical science, and chemistry, wishing to deepen their cooperation with French. More over, he explained the natural sciences funds for foreign youth senior researchers.
