Delegation of Colorado State University Visited ECNU

The Delegation of six people of Colorado State University visited our university recently. They were executive vice President Dr. Rick Miranda, vice President of Scientific Research Dr. William H. Farland, deputy dean of foreign affairs Dr. James A. Cooney, Dr. John C. Moore, Dr. Wei Gao and Todd Queen. Our President Yu Lizhong, and vice President Chen Qun had a meeting with them on the North Zhongshan Campus. The two parties signed additional cooperation agreement on October 15th.

 

This agreement was for further strengthening the teaching and scientific research in both interested fields. According to the international cooperation memorandum signed on November 5th, 2007, the two parties would dedicate to operating Colorado State University Office set in our university, which would promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.

 

Five people of the delegation also watched our key laboratory of Brain Functional Genomics, key laboratory of Optics and Spectrum, library on Minhang Campus, and Research Institute of Biological Medicine. They also watched the Concert held at Shanghai Music Hall for celebrating the 58 anniversary of ECNU.
