A Series of Lectures Given at ECNU on Space and Information Sharing and the Tendency of GIS Application

On the invitation of the key laboratory of Geographic Information Science of Education Ministry, vice President of ESRI (Beijing Branch) Cai Xiaobing, chairman of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Russ Johnson, senior Engineer Ni Liping of Information and Development Research Centre of Shanghai City and many other GIS professionals gave a series of lectures on Space and Information Sharing and the Tendency of GIS Application on June 26th.

 

GIS has developed for more than 20 years in China. Those lectures summarized the history of GIS application, integrated its new discoveries, and explored its tendency under new circumstances.
