President and Directors of Foreign Affairs Office of Two Universities in ENS Group Visited ECNU

President of ENS Cachan, Mr. Merindol, its director of foreign affairs office Mme Neuville, and director of the foreign affairs office of ENS Paris Mme Frabolot, visited ECNU on the invitation of our President Yu Lizhong on June 25th. ECNU has co-trained doctoral students with ENS Group for nine years, making great success and establishing deep friendship with them.

 

That morning, the delegation went for our Minhang Campus, visiting the Research Institute of Life Science and Medicine, exploring the further cooperation on biology. They also had a look at the future Research Centre for Teacher Education and Experiment.

 

They then went to our North Zhongshan Road Campus, watching the Sino-French co-laboratory, and having friendly talks with the students.

 

President Yu Lizhong and vice President Chen Qun met the delegation. During the meeting, Yu expressed that we would make all efforts to promote the development of the cooperation programs. And M. Merindol, on behalf of presidents of the four universities in ENS Group, gave thanks to the diligent students and our university.

 

In the meeting, the two parties went into deep on the details of further cooperation, hoping that the cooperation could be straightened and extended in the future.
