Scholar of La Trobe University in Australia Gave a Lecture in our Centre for Australian Studies

Professor James Leibold of La Trobe University in Australia, on the invitation of our Centre for Australian Studies, gave a lecture titled “Australia-Asia Relations: A View through Political Cartoons” to over 20 post-graduate students from our School of Foreign Languages on April 28^th. Professor Leibold analyzed the development of Australia-Asia relations through the political cartoons in various historical times.

Professor Leibold is in charge of the Australian party on the cooperation program with our Centre for Australian Studies. After the lecture, he had a discussion with our students who would go to Australia this year.
