Carol Composed by Xia Liang of our School of Arts Played on Shanghai Spring International Music Festival

Carol, the name of a piece of symphony overture composed by Xia Liang of School of arts, was played in the opening ceremony of Shanghai Spring International Music Festival on the evening of May 5th.

 

Xia Liang, taught by the famous Professor Ding Shan De and Wang Jianzhong, now a professor at ECNU. He has won numerous prizes in and abroad.

 

The concert is aimed at presenting excellent works every year, promoting composing and making contributions to the development of Shanghai music.
