Our International Students Went to Xi’an for Social Study

Over 80 international students were organized by ECNU to Xi’an for a 3-day social study. They set out on March 19th.

 

During the 3 days, they visited the well-known imperial park with Huaqing hot springs, the historic place where the famous “Xi’an Incident” happened, the 8th wonder of the world – the Terra-Cotta Warriors, Famen Temple and so on. Enjoyed in the fantastic combination of natural beauty and profound history, they were all fascinated by the magnificent Chinese culture and the long-standing Chinese history.

 

They also had a taste of the dumplings of a century-old Dechangfa Dumpling Shop. They were greatly impressed by the 14 dishes of various dumplings and taken photos there.

 

Through the 3-day social study in Xi’an, they were moved by the brilliant Chinese culture and history, and deepened their understandings of the books and lessons learned.

 

It is reported that our International Students Office will organize at least 2 social study activities every year, which are eye-opening experiences for the students.
