Vice President of Texas A&M University Visited ECNU

In the afternoon of April 3rd President Yu Lizhong met Professor Eric M. Bost, vice President of Texas A&M University in America and ex-ambassador of the U.S in South Africa. President Yu also met assistant vice President Ms. Emil Ashworth. He introduced the basic conditions, advantageous subjects and typical cases for international exchanges to them in detail. During the meeting, the 2 parties went into deep on the cooperation of related disciplines. The discussion included undergraduate exchange, co-research, short-term study and exchange, and teacher exchange in Schools of Education, Literature and Sciences.

 

After that, Professor Bost gave us a brilliant speech titled “Diplomatic Relationship between America and South Africa”. The audiences were deeply impressed by his vivid humor and thought-provoking ideas.
