Alumnus Gong Jinkang, Dean of Graduate School, PSU, USA, visited his alma mater

In the morning March 11, President Yu lizhong met ECNU’s alumnus Gong Jinkang, professor of chemistry, Associate University Dean and Graduate School Dean of Pacific States University. Luo Guozheng, vice chancellor of ECNU, Yang Weiming, ECNU president assistant and section chief of External Liaison and Development Planning, and Ding Shuzhe, director of International Exchange Division were present.

During the talks President Yu Lizhong extended his warm welcome to alumnus Gong Jinkang for his visit and briefed him thoroughly on the recent development of the alma mater. President Yu pointed out emphatically that ECNU would not attain today’s vigorous development without prompt response and solid support and assistance from its alumni of all walks of life.

Alumnus Gong Jinkang also conveyed greetings from the Alumni in the United States to President Yu and faculty at ECNU, showing that alumni all willing to devote their own efforts to the development of the alma mater.

 

Yu Lizhong also exchanged opinion with Gong Jinkang on talent training, scientific research, ECNU’s future development and cooperation in internationalization, etc. during the talks. The two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
