Li Minyu, the 2007 student of ECNu’s Department of Politics, received invitation letter on March 16th from NFTE (National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Inc.) to the US attending its 16th Entrepreneurship Award Issuing Evening Party.
By report, Li Minyu is the only Chinese contestant, among 10 contestants from all over the world, receiving invitation to attend the ceremony. Prior to this, Li attended NFTE’s entrepreneurship education courses at ECNU and won the first prize of 2008 National Contest of Guanghua Entrepreneurship, in behalf of the universities in shanghai, with his “business planning statement" accomplished during the study.
The NFTE entrepreneurship education courses are provided by Beijing Guanghua Charity Foundation; aimed at assisting the trainees to acquire fundamental business knowledge and skills, tap their existing potential, and elevate their social responsibility and ability in adapting to society and creating business. The Student Affairs Office of ECNU has been making great efforts in organizing and arranging the courses introduced from the Shanghai Charity Educational Training Center, having offered 2 sessions of this free entrepreneurship education courses for over 200 undergraduate students.
