Professor Moncef Ladjimi of French National Scientific Research Centre Visited our University

On the invitation of vice dean Wang Qun of our School of Life Science, Professor Moncef Ladjimi of French National Scientific Research Centre and Versailles University gave our post-graduates a brilliant academic lecture on December 15th. Professor Ladjimi explained the profound thoughts in a simple way. He talked about the lasted research findings of Alzheimer disease (AD) and Parkinson disease (PD) and the operative mechanism of some proteins.

 

Professor Moncef Ladjimi got his doctoral degree in 1984 from the French National Research Centre. He carried out his post-doctoral researches in Boston University and Harvard University, during which he was interested in the studies on the structure and function of proteins. He came back to France in 1988, and became a tenure researcher in the French National Scientific Research Centre. He has published more than 100 journals and over 30 theses on internationally renowned magazines, including 1 in PNAS, 7 in JBC, 5 in JMS and 7 in Biochemistry. Meanwhile, he is very active in many international associations of scientific research. As a key expert in French Research Department, Medical Department of French National Academy of Sciences and American National Health Research Centre, he has organized several international academic meetings.
