Our Professor Zhang Shuyi Granted the 1st International Cooperation Award of Consortium for Conservation Medicine

Professor Zhang Shuyi of our School of Life Science was the only person who had been granted the 1^st International Cooperation Award of Consortium for Conservation Medicine in 2008 International Eco-health Forum.

 

This forum mainly discussed our health problems triggered by the changes of global climate and eco-systems. It was held by the International Association of Ecological Health every other year. This time it was held in Mexico. About 500 scientists from over 60 countries attended it.

 

Consortium for Conservation Medicine is an association consisted of many world-famous scientific research institutes in the fields such as biology, public hygiene, epidemiology and zoology. It is aimed at defending epidemic diseases through cross-discipline studies.
