Our American Alumni Association Awarding Scholarships

 

In the morning of November 26th, a scholarship awarding ceremony was held in the small hall of the Administration Building on the North Zhongshan Road Campus. The scholarships were given by our American Alumni Association.

 

During the ceremony, the deputy member of our American Alumni Association Zha Jianyu introduced the general condition of this scholarship, wishing to use the countable money to express the infinite love to the Alma Mater and her students. Representatives of the students Hu Tingting made a speech, saying that we must live up to the hopes of our alumni and university, study hard and make contributions to our society and Alma Mater.

 

Vice Chancellor of our Univeristy Party gave 3 key words in his speech, which are Thanks, Cherish and Wish. He expressed thanks to our alumni in America on behalf of our university and our alumni association, highly praising their good care and contribution to us. Meanwhile, he hoped that the students who got the stipend should cherish the love and the life in the university. In the end, Luo gave out his good wishes, wishing our alumni happiness, health and prosperity. And he hoped that the profound love of ECNU could be passed down by generation after generation of our students.
