KOP Team of our School of Software Engineering Won Again in the Asian Part of ACM Competitions

KOP Team consisted of Guo Yuchang, Zhang Peng and Guo Tingting of the 06 Grade of our School of Software Engineering recently won the bronze medal again in the Asian Part (competition in Hefei) of ACM competitions after they won a bronze medal in Harbin.

 

The full name for ACM is Association for Computing Machinery. Founded in 1947, it is one of the most influential associations for computing machinery. Today ACM has more than 80,000 members all over the world. Its main activities includes SIGs (Special Interesting Groups），high level academic conference annually and academic competitions of different levels. ACM /ICPC is one of the competitions.

 

ACM competitions are consisted of 3 phases. And the teams pass the former 2 phases will go for its World Final on behalf of their nation.
