The visit of the delegation aims at signing the operational agreement between two schools on the cooperation in the related disciplines in order to further promote interdisciplinary academic exchanges. The contents of the agreement include: teacher exchange and research cooperation in the fields such as sustainable development of global environment, geosciences and remote sensing, contact-type sensing and information engineering, education, clean energy, etc; opening of the Business Management online courses offered by CSU to our students; undergraduate and graduate students exchanges; establishing an office in our school in order to strengthen the partnership between two schools.

The same day the delegation visited our Life Medicine Research Centre and State Key Laboratory of Precision Spectroscope, etc. During the visit, an unveiling ceremony of CSU’s Office in ECNU was also held in our International Education Centre. It is reported that, on November 26th, our Vice President Zhuang Huiming presided over an appointing-ceremony for Prof. James Cooney, Vice President of CSU in charge of foreign affairs, to appoint him as Honorary Professor of International Relations.
