Interactive Study Centre Held Activities for Internship Day With IBM

Recently our Interactive Study Centre held 2 activities for the Intership Day with IBM. The centre led our students to go into the corporation, receive its training courses, and do some activities for the “Family Day”, so that our studnets could know the real commercial settings in person. And they could further their understanding of our society.
   

On November 13^th, our students visited the headquarter of the Asia-Pacific Divition of IBM in Jinmao Tower. Vice President Mr. Jeffrey Rhoda made a brilliant speech to students present. After that, several online teachers of IBM had some talks with our students in pairs.

 

On November 15^th, our students came to IBM’s company in Zhangjiang Hi-tech Incubator. During the training course that morning, Wang Fang, a graduate as well as an employee of IBM, told us her experience of growing from a mentee to mentor and her unforgetable memory in MentorPlace. After that Shi Wenjun, a senior teacher of IBM, gave them a brilliant lecture on Character and Career Planning. In the end of the training courses, studnets were given the volunteer cards. And then they went for the activities of IBM Family Day.
