2008 Sports Meeting Successfully Held in our University

From November 4th to 5th, our 2008 Sports Meeting was held on the playground on Minhang Campus successfully.

 

This Sports Meeting was divided into 2 major teams: one is Faculty Team; the other is Students’ Team. Faculty team took part in 2 games: 800-meter running and cycling. They completed the games smoothly in a spirit of “Friendship first, Participation most important”. In the road cycling, more than 1 hundred teachers wearing red T-shirts printed “Sports Meeting of ECNU Faculty” rode the bicycles about 30 kilometers from our Teachers’ Centre on Minhang Campus to the destination – the North Zhongshan Road Campus.

 

In the Students’ Team, students took part in more than 20 competitions, including running games, field games and group games. During the 2 days, the Sports Meeting run very well in the joint efforts of referees, athletes, and other teachers and students in our university. More than 1000 students participated in 26 games, including 100 meter running, high jump, long jump, skipping, relay race, tug-of-war, and free throw shots.
