Chief Harmony Officer Mr. Carlos Villacis of the UN Development Program on Crisis Precaution and Recovery and Risk Identification visited our university. He discussed some issues concerning assessment on city risk and its reduction with some experts in our university and related leaders in some department of Shanghai Municipal Government on November 7th. They further explored some problems on the plausibility of the proposal and the substantial cooperation with GRIP. Many leaders and experts attended this meeting. They were from Shanghai Disaster Prevention Association, Earthquake Bureau, Meteorological Bureau and our City Public Security Centre. President Yu Lizhong presided over this meeting.
