Professor Chen Yixiang Making a Report on 2008 Informationalization Seminar for Shanghai Expo

In the afternoon of November 5th, on behalf of Academician He Jifeng, vice dean of Software Engineering Professor Chen Yixiang attended the 2008 Informationalization Seminar for Shanghai Expo and made a report titled “Hold a Fantastic Expo”.

Professor Chen Yixiang raised a new conception of building a visual post-Expo to enhance our living standard by using technologies. The visual world may depend on visual digit, ACG, visual communications, digital process, knowledge engineering and so on with a theme of “Game Expo, ACG Expo and Knowledge Expo”. It can provide a think tank full of scientific elements to government and common people, and change Shanghai into a scientific tourism centre and base of scientific education .
