From October 31st to November 2nd, Chen Hong, Hou Minyue and Gao Huirong of our Australian Study Centre attended the 11th International Seminar on Australian Studies which was held in Beijng Foreign Languages School. And Australian Literature Criticism edited by Chen Hong was awarded the Best Works of 2008. Professor Hou Minyue made a keynote speech titled China-Australia-US Trilateral Relations in the Post-Cold War Era. And Chen Hong’s thesis titled Australianisation and Internationalisation in Australian Literary Criticism and Gao Huirong’s thesis titled Higher Education Exchanges between Australia and China: Developments and Issues were highly praised by more than 130 representatives in and abroad.
