In the afternoon of November 6th, the founding ceremony of our Co-Laboratory of Environmental Remote-Sensing and Data Assimilation was held in the hall of our Office Building. The laboratory was founded by our university and Earth Observation and Digital Earth Scientific Centre of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

 

During the ceremony, our President Yu Lizhong and director of the centre Guo Huadong signed cooperation agreements. Academician Kuang Dingbo from Shanghai Technological Physics Research Institute, director of Overseas Chinese Office in Shanghai, director of Earth Observation and Digital Earth Scientific Centre of Chinese Academy of Sciences Guo Huadong, and our Chancellor Zhang Jishun all attended the ceremony.

 

After ceremony, Director Guo Huadong and Professor Allen Huang of University of Wisconsin in America made brilliant academic reports to teachers and students present.
