Sino-African Teacher Training Seminar Held in our University

In the morning of October 21st, the opening ceremony of the Sino-African Teacher Training Class was held in our university. President Yu Lizhong attended the ceremony and made a speech. Scholars and experts from 5 areas of African came to this training seminar.

 

This seminar was held by the rural education research and training centre of UNESCO, International African Capability Building Institute and our university. Representatives analyzed the latest conception and practice in the field of teacher education, and predicted its future trends.

 

This seminar is an important action taken according to the 5 commitments made by Premier Wen Jiabao, in which he promised to provide 1 million US dollars to the African Capability Research Centre and Women and Female Children Education Centre of UNESCO.
