In the morning of October 18th, vice President of Ukraine conferred Ukrainian 3rd – rank merit medal to Professor Zhao Yunzhong of Russian Department of our School of Foreign Languages.

During the ritual, the ambassador read the medal-conferring order from the president. And then the vice president conferred the medal to Professor Zhao.

This medal not only confirms Professor Zhao’s contribution on spreading history and culture of Ukraine, but also reflects the important academic status of our Chinese efforts on historical studies in the International Ukrainian Study Community.
