Chancellor Zhang Jishun in an Exclusive Interview by USA Channel 32

At 5 p.m. of October 6th, our Chancellor Zhang Jishun appeared in an exclusive interview by USA Channel 32.

 

In the exclusive interview, Chancellor Zhang spoke her mind freely on the current situation of Chinese education and our university (ECNU). When she was asked the difference between Chinese and American education and what kind of intellectuals we should nurture, she further explored those topics from conceptual or syllabus perspectives. She pointed out that the objective of Chinese education should be aimed at training useful and compassionate people. In the interview, Chancellor Zhang also answered some questions about the international trend of learning Chinese.
