Representatives of Research Institute of Brain Science in Toulouse of France Visiting our University

In the morning of September 18th, introduced by French counselor of the Science Division, 6 people from Research Institute of Brain Science in Toulouse of France, including their director Francois Chollet and deputy director Yves Trotter, had visited the key Laboratory of Brain Functional Genomics in our university. Our vice President Wang Xiaoming, director of Research Institute of Brain Functional Genomics Hu Yinghe, and its deputy director Lin Longnian attended the reception.

 

Vice President Wang Xiaoming, Director Hu Yinghe and director of Research Institute of Brain Science in Toulouse introduced each other’s general situation, staff, structure discipline construction and some representing achieves respectively. After that we accompanied them to see related laboratories in our university, exchanged views on researches and discussed the possibility of further cooperation.

 

Research Institute of Brain Science in Toulouse of France is a world leader of researches on nerves in human body-deficiency, including basic researches and their clinic studies, in particular, on some diseases like Cerebral Vascular Diseases, Alzheimer's Diseases, Parkinson's diseases, Developing Reading Disabilities, Congenitally Deaf and Acquired Deaf.

 

France and our university have made a solid cooperative foundation. Their visit to our university furthered our relationship with French higher education universities and high-level research institutes.
