In the afternoon of September 10th, we hold a solemn meeting to celebrate the 24th Teachers’ Day and to praise the excellent teachers. Leaders of our university, Zhang Jishun, Yu Lizhong, Du Gongzhuo and Lin Zaiyong attended the meeting. Vice Secretary Du Gongzhuo presided over the meeting. On behalf of the Party of our university and administrators, Secretary Zhang expressed our warm greetings and congratulations to all the teachers who have worked diligently for a year. Zhang Jishun told the teachers in her speech that they should follow the model teachers, foster an appropriate professional spirit for high-level university, improve teaching morality, pass on and glorify our fine traditions, work diligently in each field and make joint efforts to create brilliant future.
Duiring the meeting, the teachers who won the 4th session of Master Teachers at University, the 4th session of Shanghai Master Teachers at University, the 1st session of Shanghai Teaching Team, National Pioneer of combating the earthquake and doing relief work, Pioneer of Shanghai Model Work, the 6th session of Teaching Morality Model of ECNU, the 4th session of Excellent New Teacher of ECNU, the 4th session of Advanced Class, Group and Position of ECNU, 1+1 Excellent Supervisor, Great Contribution for the Development of the Experimental School of ECNU, and 2007-2008 Excellent Teachers in the Experimental School of ECNU. Faculty who have been working for ECNU over 30 years were also praised.
Wu Qinglin, winner of the 4th session of Shanghai Master Teachers at University, and Shi Jiachang, representative of the national pioneer of combating the earthquake and doing relief work both made speeches in the meeting.
