On September 5th, Doctor Forum, Farewell party of the 2008 Sino-French co-trained doctors, was held by our Sino-French Graduate School. Some leaders of Graduate School and International Exchange Office, together with over 20 doctors, attended the party. During the party, director of International Exchange Office Ding Shuzhe, and executive dean of Graduate School Fan Guorui gave wishes and requirements to the 9 students who had been selected into the 5th Sino-French Co-training Doctor Program. After that the doctors studied some policies and regulations. Graduate School and International Exchange Office answered some questions and offered some useful advice on professional studies, interpersonal relations, common senses of life and cultural differences. The co-training doctor program between ECNU and GENS (Ecole Normale Super Paris, ENS-Cachan, ENS Lyon, and ENS Lettres et Sciences humaines) have lasted for 6 years since it had been initiated on November 2002. The 2 parties founded Sino-French Graduate School in 2005. 165 students had gone to the school by 2008. 102 students had graduated, among whom 52 went to France for further studies. They were given scholarship by the French government, GENS and ECNU.
2009 Sino-French Co-training Doctor Program will enroll students from Disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Humanity (Sociology, History, Philosophy, Economics, Educational Sociology and Demography) and Life Science. All graduates enrolled in state plan in the first year in the disciplines mentioned above can apply for the program.
