In the afternoon of September 3rd, navigation for students’ life, training of “1+8 tutor system” had been carried out on our 2 campuses. 868 tutors from every schools and departments took part in it. This training was held by our Youth League Committee.

Representatives of the excellent tutors of 07-08 academic years shared their feelings and experience with the new ones, who expressed their wishes of improving relationship with the new students. Through communications and idiomatic activities, they wanted to provide better guidance to the new comers.

“Come with supervisors—you will never be alone” is its slogan. The system had been built since 2003. As 5 years passed, more than 4000 students had been tutors, who offered help for over 15,000 students. As senior students or graduates, they made models for the new comers, who would be easier to get used to the university life under their guidance. This time the 868 tutors came into the dormitories of the new comers on their 1st day in our university. In the following series such as “Mid-autumn Day, Sincere Help” on September 6th, we would give many navigation activities to them. Our Youth League Committee will follow up, go to know tutors’ work timely and offer more help for them.
