Representatives of School of Finance and Insurance in University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 visit our University for Cooperation

In the afternoon of July 13, 2008, associate Professor Stephance Loisel in the field of precise calculation of School of Finance and Insurance in Lyon 1 and his Doctor student Roman Biard visited our university. Dean of our School of Finance and Statistics Wang Rongming, Professor Wu Xianyi and leaders of our International Exchange Office received them, discussing friendly on cooperation on co-training doctors and exchanging teachers in the fields of Financial Mathematics and Precise Calculation.
 

During this meeting, representatives from the 2 universities introduced teachers’ qualification, school-running and scientific researches to each other in detail. And we discussed some specific items on exchanging teachers and co-training doctors in the 2 field mentioned above.

Dean Wang Rongming thinks that we should seize this opportunity to bring about the cooperation successfully. The cooperation must promote the development of our School of Finance and Statistics; improve our curriculum and propel our internationalization on subjects like Finance and Precise Calculation.
