“Warrior” Sets out on a Great March Again – Post-graduate of School of Life Science Lin Ling is Going to the North Pole for Scientific Exploration

Depending on the precious experience and excellent performance in China’s 24th scientific exploration of the South Pole, post-graduate of our School of Life Science Lin Ling will set out on a great march again. He is going to take part in our country’s 3rd scientific exploration of the North Pole, which is organized by State Oceanic Administration and Polar Research Institute of China. 

It is reported that the 3rd North Pole Expedition of China is going to set out from Shanghai to the North Pole on July 11th. The expedition is about 78 days. It will mainly examine the influence of the changes of the Arctic ice on China’s climate. Besides, the expedition will also make some researches on the unique life and gene resources in the Arctic Ocean, the situation of the air pollution and lasting organic contaminants of the North Pole and the underneath construction and resource distribution of the Arctic.
