On Dec. 12th, the ECNU 2022 Ethnic Cultural Exchange Festival was held by the Liwa River. Twelve ethnic cultural booths were set up at the festival, covering the Uyghur, Tibetan, Zhuang, Kazakh, Korean, Manchu, Mongolian, Dai, Miao, Dong, Yi and Tajik minority groups.
At the festival, students and teachers wandered freely, visiting the booths of different ethnic groups, admiring their distinctive costumes and collecting badges. Attracted by those exquisite ethnic booths and settings, the students tried on ethnic costumes and took pictures with the ethnic KT boards.
Over recent years, ECNU has been assisting minority students through social practice, academic and financial support, backbone training, employment assistance, student associations, etc., which has effectively enhanced the sense of achievement and happiness of minority students and promoted exchanges and communication among ethnic groups.
