ECNU researchers unveil breakthrough in local extreme precipitation projections

Global warming exacerbates the intensity of extreme precipitation, triggering flood-related disasters and posing severe challenges to the sustainable development of natural and social systems. On January 20, 2025, Professor Li Chao’s team from ECNU, published a pioneering study in Nature Communications titled “Increasing certainty in projected local extreme precipitation change.”
