On March 18, Academician Ma Yugang, President of the University, launched the first session of a series of in-depth exchanges with young students at the School of Physics, where he had a candid and profound discussion with students on the spirit of scientists and the spirit of educators. A total of 17 outstanding undergraduate, master and doctoral students attended this symposium.
As a distinguished scientist and university president, Ma Yugang extended his sincere encouragement to all the participating students. With their down-to-earth youthful practices, these outstanding young students fully demonstrate their respect for, inheritance of and promotion of the spirit of scientists and educators in the new era, representing the responsibility and ambition of contemporary young scholars to forge ahead and serve the country.
