Xiang Weining Research Group Approved by International Cooperation Project of National Science Foundation (NSF).

 

The cooperation project Synthesis to Link Understanding, Planning, and Management of Urban Ecosystems in China conducted jointly by Professor Xiang Weining from Shanghai Key Lab for Urban Ecological Process and Eco-Restoration of our university and Professor Joan Iverson Nassauer from School of Natural Resources and Environment of University of Michigan, USA have succeeded in obtaining fund from National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center which was supported by financial allocation from NSF. The project started in May this year with  participation of experts and scholars in Urban Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Geography, Ecological Design and Ekistics from China, USA and Europe.
