Zhixian Hall 24-hour Reading Space mainly manages excellent social science and education books published by East China Normal University Press. In addition, the number and proportion of children’s picture books have been increased, and thus the young faculty members of ECNU can also enjoy a good parent-child time here.

With a new Chinese study style, the space displays decorations of corresponding solar terms, so that teachers and students can experience the lifestyle of traditional Chinese literati. Accompanying the reading, the drinks are mainly the humanistic tea featuring “one person, one cup”, together with the seasonal and natural health tea and coffee.
